The Forgotscars: Celebrating the Nominees That Weren’t
The Academy always slips up when they unleash their Oscar nominations each year. Bradley Cooper didn’t earn a nod for Best Director for A Star is Born is the most recent blot on their process. This morning, in a year of such horridness, the Academy didn’t disappoint — leaving out a plethora of deserved nominees in favor of, well, other deserving nominees. To celebrate the work of those left out, here’s an alternate Oscars (in major categories only) which the snubbed get love. Since six people will read this, there’s no voting in the end. No Gold Statues. No nothing. Just recognition — which is enough, right? Cheers to the Oscar Forgotten…
