The Forgotscars ‘23: Celebrating the Biggest Oscar Omissions
Adam Sandler isn’t going to get any Oscar love for a long time. If you’re not quite sure why watch Jack and Jill. His performance in Uncut Gems and this year’s Hustle should trump any of his lame comedies from yesteryear but it’s clear the Academy isn’t quite ready. This morning, many talents were left out in the cold when the Oscar nominations were announced. As I do each year, I’m here to recognize them with my Forgotscars — honoring the ones the Oscars forgot. They’re split into the same categories but I don’t hand out winners. Why? Because six people are reading this? Perhaps, but for the most part, because I don’t plan on giving out any awards. I mean who would take them anyway? In any event, these performances and contributions shouldn’t be ignored and that’s why we’re here. Congrats to all the fake nominees…
